Important insurance disclosure
Daily Event Insurance is a technology platform and licensed insurance producer where applicable. Daily Event Insurance is not an insurance company, insurer, underwriter, claims administrator, or risk-bearing entity. All coverage is underwritten, issued, priced, bound, modified, cancelled, and adjudicated solely by independent licensed insurance carrier partners.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Daily Event Insurance's website, quote tools, partner portal, consumer flows, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Daily Event Insurance's Role
Daily Event Insurance operates an embedded insurance technology platform that helps event organizers, partners, and consumers connect with insurance products offered by licensed carrier partners. Our role is limited to platform operations, information collection, quote facilitation, partner tooling, and payment facilitation where permitted.
We do not underwrite policies, guarantee coverage, bind coverage, modify policy terms, cancel policies, adjust claims, approve claims, deny claims, or pay claims.
3. Insurance Products and Coverage
Information provided through our services is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee, recommendation, or binding offer of insurance coverage. Any premium estimate shown by the platform is preliminary and may change during the carrier's underwriting or application process.
The terms, conditions, coverage limits, exclusions, deductibles, premiums, refunds, cancellations, and claim outcomes for any policy are determined solely by the issuing insurance carrier. If platform information conflicts with the policy documents issued by the carrier, the carrier's policy documents control.
4. User and Partner Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Review all carrier-provided policy documents before purchasing coverage.
- Use the services only for lawful purposes.
- Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Not represent Daily Event Insurance as the insurer or underwriter of any policy.
- Comply with applicable insurance, marketing, privacy, and consumer-protection laws.
5. Claims and Carrier Disputes
All claims under insurance policies obtained through the platform are administered by the issuing carrier. Daily Event Insurance does not process, investigate, adjust, approve, deny, or pay claims. Coverage questions, claims, policy disputes, refunds, and cancellation requests may need to be resolved directly with the issuing carrier.
6. Payments, Fees, and Commissions
Insurance premiums are determined by carrier partners. Daily Event Insurance may facilitate premium collection, platform fees, or partner commissions where permitted by law and disclosed in the applicable flow or partner agreement. Refund rights and premium cancellation terms are controlled by the issuing carrier and policy language.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, software, and intellectual property on our website and platform are owned by Daily Event Insurance or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission, except as expressly allowed in an active partner agreement.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, or that any estimate, carrier product, or coverage option will meet your needs.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daily Event Insurance is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or insurance-related damages, including claim denials, coverage disputes, policy cancellations, carrier insolvency, or the acts or omissions of any carrier partner. Our aggregate liability for claims related to the services will not exceed the greater of fees you paid directly to us in the prior twelve months or $100.
10. Modifications and Termination
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version with an updated date. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access to the services for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
